Suraj is a passionate and versatile musician with over 10 years of performing experience and 8 years of teaching expertise in vocals, keyboard, and flute. He is skilled in a broad spectrum of musical genres, spanning classical Western to Carnatic. In his academic track record, he has achieved Grade 8 from Trinity College, London, with distinction, and was awarded for his excellence in performance and sight-reading.
In his career, Suraj has performed in various Orchestras as a Flautist, Singer, and keyboardist/Pianist, working with renowned orchestras and famous artists such as SP Charan, Anuradha Sriram, Malathy, Mukesh, Mookuthi Murugan in many prestigious venues. He has also worked with several music directors as a recording artist for Films, Short films, and TV shows.
As a Guru, he is experienced in teaching students of all ages (5 yrs to 50 yrs) imparting personalized music lessons, focusing on vocals, keyboard, and flute. He is adept in developing lesson plans, lecturing music theory (with notes), coaching performance techniques, and sight-reading skills. Suraj helps students to prepare for grade exams, ensuring successful completion with distinction and honors. Many of his students have went on to perform in popular Television shows.
