Karthik Akshay Ganesh

Karthik Akshay Ganesh is the son of the legendary violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan. He started learning violin at the tender age of 5 and immediately found his affinity with the instrument. He later went on to play his first concert at the mere age of 10 whilst accompanying his father. He then began learning drums under Jeoraj Stanley George at the age of 15 and has been performing concerts for more than 15 years. This unique combination of drums and violin became very popular across the country. Karthik Akshay has toured the globe with his concerts with musicians of multiple genres like The Raghu Dixit Project, System 04 (A progressive Rock Band), Armor of God (A heavy metal band), and Violin concerts with Ganesh Rajagopalan in 2016 at Brooklyn. He is a highly sought-after musician around the world with his associations with world-famous artists like Karthick Iyer, Kumaresh Rajagopalan, and Jayanthi Kumaresh, Sudha Raghunathan, Bombay Jayashree, Kodaari, Jatayu. He is also a regular performer in many tribute concerts. These include Led Zeppelin (@ Taj Gateway, Cochin Organized by Rolling Stones), Megadeth, Pink Floyd, and many more. He was an integral artist during the launch of the devotional album ‘Hari’ 2017 at Narada Gana Sabha. Karthik Akshay has also judged many college-level competitions such as Techofes(CGE), Milan (SRM univ), Sathyabhama University, and Unmaad Festival Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. With more than 20 combined years of experience, Karthik has managed to spread his knowledge and teach more than 100 students all over the world both online and offline.
