Shri. Suryo Narayan Ganguly is a Western classical and gypsy fiddle violinist, with a deep interest in gypsy and global repertoire from diverse cultures and eras, blending traditional styles with contemporary interpretation.
His learning years were under the tutelage of acclaimed gurus, Shri Biswadeb Chatterjee and Shri Kamal Bairagi. He also achieved Sangeet Bhushan (3ndYear)- Indian classical table by Pracheen Kala Kendra, in First division with Distinction. He continues the advancement of his musical discovery under the guidance of Ms. Jennifer O ‘Connor.
A prized jewel of his musical quest is the Neural Network Model he developed, that maps human emotions to Ragaas and musical notation, generating music tailored to specified emotional inputs (published in 2024).
His notable performances spans events like Independence day , Republic day, Netaji Jayanti, Vidyarthi vrata etc. He has also performed at Various colleges and several cultural events at Ramakrishna mission and Vivekenanda Educational. In the recent years he has started focussing on imparting Western Violin lessons to students who have a passion for the instrument.
