Having been initiated into Carnatic violin training at the age of five, Naveen Ramachandran has dedicated his life to mastering the instrument for the past 14 years. He was trained under Vidwan Shri K.J. Shyama Sharma and received advanced training from his son, Violin Vidwan Shri K.J. Diliip (disciple of Vidwan Shri Parur M.S Gopalakrishnan). Currently, Naveen is pursuing Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music at the University of Madras, Chennai.
Naveen was a regular winner at several inter-school music competitions and the Children Club Society, during school days. He has performed solo violin concerts at prestigious venues, including Pyramid Valley International in Bangalore, The Margazhi Utsavam at Anandam Old Age Home in Ambattur, Navaratri concert series at Nageswara Rao Park and Kapaleeswarar Temple, Sringeri Mutt, and some of the prestigious Sabhas in Chennai like Arkay Convention Center, Chennai Fine Arts for their Margazhi Utsavam and Navaratri Festival respectively.
Since the last two years Naveen has been accompanying various upcoming artists for their performance.
